Position Key Deliverables:

Openworks Database administration
and support

Geologic Modeling support

Cross sections and geologic maps
from interpreted geologic markers

Log displays and up-to-date
historical injection profile plots for injectors
Position
Roles and Responsibilities:
-
Managing OpenWorks databases in the
San Ardo and Coalinga fields including correcting, digitizing,
and updating data as needed
-
Provide interpretive geologic data
output in the form of cross sections and maps (base, structure,
pay, SOC)
Active support for surveillance and development activities in
the San Ardo and Coalinga fields
Critical
Skills/Knowledge:
-
Fundamental Technical Skills in
Geology, including basic knowledge of well logs and core data,
stratigraphic correlation, and structural geology
-
Proficiency with mainstream
geologic products (LandMark & Earthvision) and how to format,
load, and manipulate relevant data (well header, core,
directional surveys, logs, marker picks, zone summaries, faults,
injection profiles, mechanical wellbore data, volumetrics)
-
Proficiency with Excel, Access,
DSS, Business Objects, WRA, and ArcGIS desired
-
Working knowledge of Aera’s
Corporate Information Factory, Enterprise Data Store, and the
Reporting Warehouse, including geologic data additions and
corrections for the Reporting Data Warehouse
