In 1997 Aera formed a limited partnership with Toll Brothers, Inc. to develop a residential and golf course master-planned community in Yorba Linda, Calif. The 840-acre property, known as Vista del Verde, is now commencing residential sales in its third phase ( www.vistadelverde.com ). Vista del Verde is part of a larger Aera ownership totaling more than 4,000 acres in Orange and Los Angeles counties. These lands will provide additional real estate development opportunities as oil production operations are phased out over the next several years.
