Aera Energy LLC has a long-standing tradition of community involvement.  Through comprehensive company donations programs and volunteer efforts, Aera makes a significant difference in the communities where we operate.  The company provides financial support to more than 100 community-based organizations each year, and employee pledges combined with Aera’s company match make up one of the largest contributions to United Way of Kern County.

Aera people are active volunteers in schools, civic organizations, and non-profit agencies.  Many employees hold key leadership positions in a number of diverse organizations including state and local chambers of commerce, economic development associations, and educational, cultural, and environmental organizations.  Team Aera, Aera’s volunteer organization, was recognized by the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce with a Beautiful Bakersfield Award.  Aera’s forerunner companies have been honored for their outstanding contributions by the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Kern High School District, Ventura Education Partnership, Ventura Police Activity League, and the Volunteer Center of Kern County.
