Aera team participates in Kern County Veterans Stand Down
Aera’s Veteran’s employee resource group, VALOR, provides assistance at Veteran’s event: Nearly 20 members of Aera’s VALOR employee resource group, many of them Veterans themselves, participated in the annual Kern County Stand Down for Veterans, which works to help connect Veterans with services and basic needs. Some of the veterans are homeless and a variety of groups were on hand to provide haircuts, food or other basic necessities. Veterans were also able to learn about career opportunities, including those at Aera. From left Mick Swen, Tommy Vega, Nancy Sheltren, Jake Cosper and Megan Hillyer were part of the VALOR team that represented Aera.
