Aera named to top spot on Pacific Coast Business Times Best Place to Work list
The third time’s a charm for Aera-Ventura taking the first-place spot among large Central Coast employers on the Best Places to Work list by the Pacific Coast Business Times.
“Our Central Coast Best Places to Work rankings are based on a quantitative analysis of employee responses to our survey,” said Henry Dubroff, chairman, editor and majority owner of the Pacific Coast Business Times, who presented the award to an Aera representative in June. “We congratulate Aera Energy on its No. 1 ranking and for the participation of a large number of its employees in the region.”
According to the publication, this year’s survey was taken by nearly 1,200 people with jobs based in the region. It included 25 questions that asked workers to grade their employers when it came to culture, benefits, perks, community involvement and more. This is the third time the company has been honored as a Best Place to Work by the PCBT, and its first time taking the first-place spot.
“We are honored to receive the top Best Places to Work award from the Pacific Coast Business Times among so many incredible Central Coast employers,” said Erin Larner, manager of operations for Aera-Ventura. “What makes this award so meaningful is that our very own employees are the ones who have put us on the list three times. It’s our employees that make Aera such a great place to work, and I’m proud to work with a group of people who truly demonstrate our company values.”
