Californians for Energy Independence’s new ad campaign shares how state’s energy policies drive up costs for Californians

Did you know? California imports 75% of the oil it uses, mostly from foreign countries.
That’s one of the reasons why Californians for Energy Independence says supporting California oil and natural gas production is so important. Restricting California’s ability to continue producing the energy to meet demand increases foreign oil imports, results in higher gas prices at the pump and risks serious energy supply shortages.
