Aera Energy works hard to produce some of the most sustainable, safe and reliable energy under some of the most stringent health and safety regulations in the world. In fact, Californians can depend on Aera to produce 25 percent of the in-state oil and natural gas they use every day.

However, the state continues to rely on foreign-oil imports to provide the majority of the 1.8 million barrels to meet California’s demand. This foreign oil is not subject to the same stringent environmental and air-quality regulations as oil produced in state.
